You can pray out loud or silently in your heart to God: “Dear God, I admit that I have sinned against you. I believe Jesus died and rose again from the dead to pay the penalty for my sins. Okay, so you’re not quite there yet. You don’t really understand or believe in Jesus yet. That’s okay for now. But if you are willing to seriously consider and seek what God has for you and you are sincere about it, we are confident that God will provide you with the answers you need. How about allowing us to engage with you as you explore the possibilities of who Jesus is and what it could mean for your life? In the meantime, if you are serious about seeking after the truth, listen to what the Bible says: “And you will seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13) Here is a prayer you can pray to God right now that will help you to find him: “Dear God. I want to know the truth. I am seeking after you. Please show me what is true and reveal yourself to me. Please show me whether or not Jesus is the Messiah. Amen.” We are convinced God will answer that prayer. Be watching and listening for his answer. |
